The second of two respect life events at St. Patrick Parish (the first is 10/3). Following the 11am Mass. Join sports broadcaster / film producer, John Morales (in from Chicago) and leaders of three local pro-life ministries(Little Way PRC, Lifehouse, & The Helpers of God’s Precious Infants) for this riveting presentation on their respective missions, their impact in our community, & ways to offer support. Your eyes will be opened to the grandeur & beauty of life! Refreshments will be provided & some extra special entertainment is in store. RSVP requested. [1:00pm] Day of Recollection for Ladies
Description:
St Bernard Church in Clementsvill, Ky will hold a day of recollection for ladies, followed by high tea in the rectory. Mass will be at 11am and Eucharistic adoration will begin at 1pm. The day will include 2 talks on spiritual renewal, time for reflection and walking on the parish grounds and Benediction. Tea, coffee and pastries will be provided afterward. [2:00pm] Big Rock Jazz and Blues Fest
Description:
The Big Rock Jazz and Blues Fest is a musical event celebrating it's 13th year of outstanding jazz and blues in the beautiful setting of Cherokee Park. The concert is free with the assistance of Metro Parks and the Olmstead Parks Conservancy plus financial help from Metro Councilman Tom Owen and many sponsors.The income goes to help the Highlands-Douglass Neighborhood Association and Highland Community Ministries. [2:30pm] 61st Living Rosary
Description:
The 61st presentation of the Living Rosary will be held at Assumption High School. There will be a concert by the Holy Name Band at 2:30, followed by the procession and living rosary formation at 3. Fr. Lawrence Lindle will also speak.
